About us

Fred Keetch first opened his gallery and picture framing workshop in Taunton, Somerset.  A second gallery was opened in Exeter by his daughter, Betty.  However, in 1998 the business relocated to Exmouth under the current owner, Simon Bolt, Fred Keetch`s grandson.  The principles of personal service and value for money are as important to us now as in Fred`s time, some eighty-five years ago.

The art gallery has an ecletic mix of local artists work, and affordable paintings from artists working further away .  We are the home gallery for Michael Norman, who was  elected as a member of the prestigious Pastel Society of London in 2007.  Other local artists regularly on show  include  Ray Balkwill and other members of the South West art grops

We also have a good selection of limited edition prints, many using the latest giclee techniques.  We are agents for de Montfort Fine Art, and the Fine Art Group.  Artists currently in stock include Doug Hyde, Rebecca Lardner, Duncan MacGregor and Louise Braithwaite. New artists work include the sucessful Sue Howells and Mary Anne Rogers.  Powerful new figurative work from Fletcher Sibthorp and Christine Comyn extend our range and we add amusing characters from the artist Edward Tibbs.
